I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy and consultation to individuals, parents, and schools in the Washington metropolitan area and beyond. With an interactive style, I use a positive, solution-focused approach and provide a nonjudgemental atmosphere that allows for opportunities to decompress, reflect and problem solve. My 20 years of experience as a high school counselor at local independent schools, along with my private practice and consulting experience, has given me the necessary insights into the lives of emerging adults and those who parent them.

I specialize in working with older adolescents, young adults, and parents by offering supportive psychotherapy to address anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and parenting challenges. With a collaborative and student-centered approach, I also work with schools by consulting, developing programs, and providing workshops on various topics including mental health, sexual assault and consent, and parenting.

Furthermore, I am a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH), have been specifically trained in the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) approach, and have presented at a number of national conferences regarding issues such as confidentiality, sexual assault and consent, and school programming.
